Default Helmet?????

Do helmets run true in size? I'm going to be purchasing a new helmet soon and my hat size is 7-1/2 which is about a large, so should I go slightly larger for comfort or just get one based exactly on my hat size?

here is the helmet i'm looking at purchasing it's 7-3/8's - 7-1/2''

My hat size is a 7-5/8 and my large helmet fits good. It is also made by G-force so I think you'll be fine.

I need a new one, a little larger. I guess I'll use the chart in the Summit paper catalog. A little too tight is better than a little too loose huh?

Where you located at in Illinois? Maybe I can help before you make your purchase. I got a few SNELL helmets and I believe a couple are M2010 approved

Nw burbs. about a hr or so from crestwood, but if the deal is good enough I'd rather order locally then from summit. I planned to order Monday!

You can always cheat a little and try one or several on at a local motorcycle shop to see how they work. That's what I did before ordering mine online. Gave me a little more confidence before pulling the trigger...
