Default dust / converter cover on TH350

Is a dust cover or converter cover (whatever you want to call it) required for NHRA drag racing? Are there any advantages to having one on a drag only car? I've got a TH350 and if its not I'd like to save the $40 and run without it. Thanks

great, thanks for the input guys. I didn't see talk about a dust / converter cover in the rulebook so I figured I'd double check with others first. Thanks again!

as stated no need. Ran a TH400 without one or 2 years... never saw any purpose to putting it on.
