If there not the street bogarts I wouldn't even consider it, they seem to have a rep of not holding up on the street.

I do know the car needs to be very light. But I would talk with someone like JL as he ran them on this race car. I toyed with the idea for a race only set of rims to use that tire but due to the near stock race weight, it was going to be a no-go.

I have a Firebird at my house now with two cracked Bogarts running DS2's. I think there is a reason that "not for highway use" is stamped on the wheels.

the guy at SJM said they would be fine if i was smart about it....and also told me if i cracked one he would fix it for around 140 dollars.....this makes me feel alot better haha....i think i need to make the car a little lighter to put my mind at ease about it...

light weight will help, but they bend from a pot hole. OR get a stress crack on the inside lip just form normal street turns. Both really have little to do between a normal 3400# little lighter. And if you has some super light 2800 street weight.
The tires are gonna wear out before 3,000 miles

i dont care how fast they wear out they arent that expensivce and this has to be a max effort considering the low power level haha....just going to be super careful and dont go flying around turns and watch for potholes...i think then it should be okay

Crack a rim on the highway or stopping short whatever and $140 rim fix will be the least of your problems.

You can find more than 75 searching through threads here and that doesn't include the two at my house. So it's at least 77.

I would probly Listen to these guys that have seen it first hand. I know you spend some money on your car and wont be worth it when you hit a bridge or something but as long as I am in front of you. Unless you plan on swapping them for a night of fun and reinstalling the stock wheels afterwords. I wouldnt do it daily driving.

^^ dude suck it.....im just saying i think that the sideload of cornering is way harder on them than just stopping and applying pressure down....i mean if cars can rip wheelies and come down on them how would stopping be any harder on them
