Default help with my launch please

i think i'm going to try a different rear shock set up and remove the drag bag. right now i have the comp enginering thee way rear shocks, stock springs, umi tunnel mount t/arm @ -2*, relo brackets in the bottom hole, sphon rear drag sway bar, umi solid tubular poly cntrl arms, adj panhard with heim joints and mikey et street radials.

this launch was a 1.57 60'. i am wanting to see some 1.40's so i can run in the 11.20's n/a. then i can open the bottle and really have some fun. was curiuos what you guys running 1.40 sixties think? and are using for shocks?

Wheel spin?
Tried different relo holes?
Air psi experiments?
Looks like decent pitch rotation. If tire spin is not an issue... It'll take more HP to cut that much off the short time..

Try it w/ the bottle, yet?

didn't notice any wheel spin really, felt good. no havent tried the top hole, will have to. did play with the pressure, that launch was at 17psi, went 16, then 15. both times netted a 1.53 60'. have yet to open the bottle, this was the first time out with the new 4400 converter. was just thinking that if she squated abit more i would have better weight transfer and pick up some 60' time, am i wrong in thinking that?

thanks for the input...

are you leaving off an idle and flashing the stall when leaving or are you trying to stall it up before you push through the brakes?

hmmm. it almost looks like its not hitting the tire hard enough, cause it definately is not spinnong.

Could need a little more converter or power, hard to say. Maybe try to leave at like 2000-2200 rpm (elevated idle). I think that may help it flash the converter faster and get it moving instead of leaving off a dead idle

We always run the Double Adjustable AFCO shocks on the front and rear. They will give you the ability to fine tune your suspension, and get the numbers that you're looking for. Call me for more information. 225-673-3533

Thanks!
