Default trouble with some traction at strip.

Hey hope everything good,

Took my hawk to the track about a week ago and I was having some issues with traction all the way down the track. haha

my setup is
ls6 heads
fast 102 mm intake manifold
fast 102 mm throttle body.
hooker long tubes hook off road y-pipe
boral y pipe back
t56 viper built 700 hp and 700 Ibs rated trans,
ls7 clutch auluminum flywheel
rear end girdle
390 gears pro 5.0 shifter mickey thompsons et street...
comp cam 6.24 lift com cam rockers pushrods.

it dynoes at 438 to the wheel

cars great, but im having some traction issues at the track.. I thinking about getting this torque arm to replace my factory one, any thought

http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...oducts_id=3100

i also have a line lock coming... but im having issues with my 60 foot and traction throughout shifting...

im still oin the stock 10 bolt is this torque arm going to help with some traction and overall bite?

adding weight to the backend that help?
im trapping between 117 and 120
running mids 12's I know im faster then that....
or the car can acheive faster then that....

any suggestions?

thanks..

I think that 10 bolt will go boom the first time you hook decent. If you dont have money for a 9in/12bolt, Id stick with no traction. Just a heads up.

Same here. What track? How was the prep? Where other racers apinning too.
When it warms up a little you'll get traction.

I have a similar torque arm setup that includes a driveshaft loop and is about 100.00 less cost. I also have all the suspension components you need that are proven and at deals you won't find anywhere else. there is a pretty simple combination of parts that is proven to work on these cars and we have the experience to help you get down the track quicker and save you a few bucks in the end. PM, email, or call us and we can hook you up on a complete package with a discount.
