I took mine out in tact without breaking it up...there is a write up on here somewhere showing where every bolt is fot it..It literally only took me about an hours to remove the dash, air ducts, and heater core.

Yes, I am reinstalling mine but I got the dash completely out, something like 9 bolts. I also had to pull the steering wheel down, but I now have enough room to get the heater core back in. I could probably take a pic or two if you think it'll help?

That thread does not show how to remove the heater core or hvac box. Op are you wanting to remove the heater core or the whole box? I just finished removing all of my hvac system, I ended up breaking the box. Follow the sticky on dash removal. Then there are some bolts on the inside of the car bolting the box to the firewall and some bolts on the engine side of the firewall holding it on. remove them all and the box will come out. core blower and all. If you are just after the core, once the dash is off, there a are a few gold screws that hold the cover panel on the core box, remove them and there is one screw holding the core itself to the box. then take the hoses off and its yours.

Yeah I'm looking to remove the whole box intact without braking it. I found one 10mm bolt above the box but didnt see any others on the inside. I only searched for a sec as I had to leave but I was hoping to see if there was a write up on removing the box itself. I have searched and searched but havnt found one that doenst include hacking it up.

There are some bolts located in the engine bay that go into the back of the box..most of them can be easily removed if you take the PCM out. The harder one to get to is the top right one up behind the intake/heads area. Once you remove all of them then it will come out in one piece....once I get home from work I will take some pictures of where they are.

I'm sorry I don't have pictures of the removal process, but with the dash removed, I pulled my heater everything through the people-space all in tact. You've probably found the screws inside with out much problem, there are nearly the same on the outside. Some of them are very difficult to reach, but when you pull it through, remember you might still have fluids within the heater GL
