Removed Hvac system now 1 question?? removed the heater system, what to do with the water pump nipples??? Is it ok to just put rubber caps on the nipples of the water pump that the heater core hoses went to, or do I need to connect the two together with a hose. No sure if plugging the fittings would cause any issues, caitation,or flow restriction ,what did you guys do? any problems? Thanks
Stock heater hose, take the smaller size, heat one end up and stuff it on the larger opening, install hose clamp. Take hose, loop around and put on to other side, with hose clamp.
Works fine.
Or, cap both sides off if you want to get a cap for both, it won't hurt either way.
