Advice on grinding calipers for weld prostars?

I had to grind both. It took probably 2 hours per wheel. I'd grind, then put the wheel back on with a couple of lug hand tight. Turn the wheel, or try to turn it. Remove it and look for rub marks. Repeat. I can't tell you where to grind spacificly because it's been too long. Good luck.

If you havnt bought the wheels yet. Racestars fit without grinding. I've heard of ground down calipers breaking. Mine have been clearanced for years now without a problem, but I'd hate to see the results if they did break

I agree, save a little more and buy wheels that fit. I spent over ten hours grinding to get my Draglites to fit and was very concerned at how much I removed when all was done...
I can tell you if you decide to do this use masking tape to see where it is rubbing and use flapping discs instead of grinding wheels...

took me an hour to do all 4 only took off what i had to and don't feel i lost any strength, but i did use a 7/32 spacer front and 5/16 rear but had plenty of thread contact with the lugs
