Im sorry you dont understand how a cars electrical system works. You can remove the battery once running and the car will still run. Its not required for running only for starting. When you place a load on your cars electrical system, the battery may provide the intial surge of power thats being demanded but the alternator picks up the load and delivers the current immediatly after. So, the battery is simply a buffer of sorts but this doesnt last long. Second, the alternator produces dirty electricity, meaning sorta pulsing a lot like AC power. The battery acts as a buffer and prevents that from getting into your cars electronics. But again, this really doesnt test the batteries holding power, it's just a function of the system as a whole. If you ever drive a car that has a **** battery youll notice the dash lights kinda flicker and act goofy, thats because the poor battery condition prevents it from buffering like it should. So, in conclusion, I stand behind my previous statement.

You might be better off staying with what you have now if its working. At least in the bike world on the Shorai there's some commotion going on how good the battery is...I know experiences will vary but the negatives seem to be growing. I may end up getting a battery like yours instead.

Autocraft LFP-8
I would post a link but they are not a site sponsor. I have had mine since May. I drive the car almost every day and have had no issues. The terminals are small you have to get creative to connect the factory ground and power wire.
Weighs 4.13 lbs

My stand alone goes where the factory battery goes anyhow, so I'll need to sort something out for sure. My issue is relocating it. Being so light I don't really need it all the way in the back, and that brings up charging questions even if I did put it back there. I wouldn't mind finding another place under the hood for it but I wonder if I'll be hassled at the track for a shut off being that it has been moved from the factory location.

Go lithium battery and charger is 675. I know 2 people running them with success, for the money it's about the best way to get into a racing lithium battery, that's the route I'm taking... Trying to get a 4th gen with a tall deck iron block to under 2900 is no easy task especially with a 250 lb driver, and I'm on a mad weight loss kick trying to get to 220 lol

Maybe you can shine some insight... Being their batteries 16v will that in any way harm the electronics on our cars? I didnt see any 12 v options. Otherwise that battery looks awesome.
IT only cost $10 more than the Brailley I posted and has more PCA.
Thanks.

16 volt is standard race car voltage you could step it down with a transformer but I can tell you the Windows go up and down with authority lol
For a street car I think anything other than a full battery is asking for trouble. Put the big one in the trunk and call it a day
