Default Just one of those, "which tires?" thread

I've got an lt1 making around 400rwhp and am looking for some 26" tires to hook hard on. Its got a yank 3600, "built" 4l60e, and a 9 inch with 3.70s. I was looking at hoosier dot drag radials but couldn't find too much about them with an auto car. Don't want to run tubes and they are going on 15 x 10 prostars. Also, currently have bias plys on the front.

Thanks

ET Street radial is way more tire then you need. Surely you have given them some thought.

Yeah but I was looking for a more dedicated track tire and something that can perform under different track preps. It will see a good amount of test and tune and we all know how those nights can go.

I just bought hoosier dot radials and tried them for the first time. I won't be running mt et street radials again. The hoosiers are sick and my car is a 6 speed.

I'd run MT drag radials. U're not supposed to run bias and radials together. I did.

I have the Hoosier QTP drag radials. They are not DOT approved for street use, but they qualify for the drag radial classes still. They are just about a slick, they are stickier than the Pro Streets from what I've heard. If they don't put me in the 1.30's I'm going all out with ET drags instead. From what I've heard I don't think I will be dissapointed...

I just put a set of Hoosier drag radials on my car. 325/50/15 on a 10" rim. The second time out they were cutting 1.31-1.37 60'.

The MT drag radials are pretty good also. You will not be disappointed in either tire.
