Smith,

odd question:

What is your ride height in the rear? fenderlip to ground? Also, what TA are you running and what kind of clearance are you seeing with the crossbrace on the 25spec floor? We are putting together my Torque arm this week and these are the two we are trying to sort out. You can send to me in PM if you'd rather?

Rear is narrowed 5" per side with 15x10-3" BS.

I have never measured it from fenderlip to see. I will check it out and let you know. Its a racecraft tq arm. The floor structure is built under the tq arm so its pretty close. The rear will fall maybe 4" before the arm hits the cross member.

every car is different ,the mounts the locations the brackets all make it different from car to car. the bar locations so about the only thing that could be the same would be ride hieght, all else doesnt matter unless you have every part he has and built the car the way we did.Even from car to car that we build they are not the same, the reason i say this ,is because you did'nt say what parts you where using and show any picts of your car. Your chassis guy or if you are doing it has to set car where you want it and do what it takes to get it there. bob

I am aware that parts are different, and the floor bracing and cage can be built about 500 different ways to still meet requirements, but having a community helps. It's possible i just like his ride height too.

Trust me, we'll do what it takes. He's done a good job of it so far!

Well Smith I wish it could've went better for ya but 4.90 for your 6th hit in the car is damn awesome.

I guess with those damn ford pro mods running .60's and .70's you will have to find some power in the 330' to out run them.

Good job though!

Both cars look AWESOME, seriously you have two of the most sexiest cars on the property.

That was the 2nd full pass was the 4.90. The first pass I lifted early and went a 5.46 then the next pass the throttle cable broke. For the 3rd pass I ran it all the way thru the first time for a 4.98 then the 4th and final pass was a 4.90. I'm very happy for the first time out especially not knowing what I'm doing with it.

4.90 this early into the testing and learning the car shows alot of potential!

Did you put a set of the new m/t radials on the car yet or was this with the older style?

I know what you mean. This car has almost surpassed my nitrous car in 2 full passes and my nitrous car has hundreds of passes.
