Congrats on the impressive times Justin! Both of the cars look badass, and I am not surprised at how fast the blower car is coming around. I've experienced your abilities first hand, so I know what your capable of

I think that blower car is gonna surprise us all.

Were you doing a Steve Jackson "hold it to the floor for 700 feet" impression when you broke the throttle cable? LOL sounds like it!

So, I guess the question is now are you going to step up to the X?

If the X goes through in the X275 ranks of being legal, you will probably get a weight break don't you think?

I'm sure you haven't even poured the coals to that thing yet, so it's probably too early to even start considering anything else than being happy.

Thanks Brian, I'm just tuning this thing like a nitrous car since I don't know any other way.

It broke the end of the cable where it attached to the throttle body. I would have never thought it would have broke there. I put a new end on it and it seems to be fine.

If the X remains legal I will more than likely end up getting one. I hate to change to one right now since I haven't really even gotten to run this F1R very much. We will have to wait and see how things go. If thats what it takes to run up front you can bet I will try and get one.

All I know is the thing sounds CRAZY in the burnout box !!

Wish you could have made more than 1 pass on Thurs.
It has bottom .80's - high .70's in it with the R for sure.

It has way more power than I am used to for sure. It really caught me by surprise that first burnout.

What kind of power do you think the blower car is making? Do you think it will less maintenance than the n2o car?

Did it rev right up through the converter?

Not having to blip the nitrous to start the burnout must be different

Not really sure on either question. I think it should make about 1400 in the end but I still have a ways to go. I hope it will be less maintenance than the nitrous car.

Just has a lot more power than the nitrous car and turns up a lot quicker. As for hitting the nitrous in the burnout box I have only ever seen one person do that and I'm sure he will read this thread.

Thanks, it doesn't have much angle in it but it does still run uphill towards the body. I think it had about 1* in it.

The car looks absolutely amazing. Great job! 4.90 is a damn good time and I'm sure that time will improve throughout more runs.
