So,

NRC-->is there a reason you didn't cut out the rear bucket seat area for this car?

IT may have something to do with the factory frame rails attach to most of them. Most stock suspension classes have rules agaist any modification of the frame rails

didn't say cut out the rear frame. just said the pans where the stock bucket's are. Obviously leave the stock rail in there. Think more like what they did in the engine bay. The stock frame rail is still there, but the stock metal around it is gone.

Those rear seat pans are part of the frame rail. They are spot welded to them. They also extend to past the middle of the seat pan. You have a small area left between the rail and the trans tunnel that you can cut out. I was going to cut mine out for muffler clearance.

we keep allot of the floor ,so there is no problem in any class he runs.
and theres really no gain vs work or weight as it is part of the rear structure of car...............we took out as much as is "allowed" for all the classes he may run

some Pict's to follow, today we did other header tomorrow firewall adjusting

Car looks awesome Bob.

It was nice talking to you this morning and I can't wait to get my car down to you for a cage and mini-tub.
