This is a 12in rim with a 325x50x15 stock tank and rear t-top cubby. You typically have to have a wishbone but you can cut off the panhard mount and move it toward the driverside more. If I can find the pics I will post them of the panhard relocation. I still need plastic and carpet installed.

Way we did mine there's no way you could keep the phb, or the shocks in the stock location.
To give you an idea where my car was cut inwards to, the stock shock mounting bolt holes, are gone. The cut lined up parallel with the inner most point of those holes.
I have a 14.5'inch wide section width tire on my car and there over an inch everywhere width wise. Mi have a 5.5'inch backspace wheel and we took ).5 inches off the rear per side. My 12 bolt, after the bracing and everything said and done weight wise is lighter than a stock 10 bolt, I know I can pick the whole rear end up easier than I can a 10 bolt, brakes on both fwiw.

No not really, G bodies if you saw the angle that the shocks are on those from the factory they have way more, and people put coil overs on them.
If you have an angular change over the course of the suspension travel it will change the rate of the spring, but in this case that's not going to be an issue/happen really.
