what rpm limit?
what rpm limit? i have a 94k mile 2002 camaro ss ls1 i have hptuners what is a safe rpm limit when running at the track right now it seems to be at 6200 just wondering.

well u can command it to be @ 6200 but with the stall and speed it MAY carry (run out) a few more 100 rpms after that b4 the actual shift..even with a shift kit...
BTW ..u didnt say if u have a specific cam that has a certain power band that it likes to peak at so the question is a little broad..

I'd be replacing springs before touching the limiter and when you push it, it generally supposed to be a few hundred RPM's more. Some out there have pushed further but have swapped out rod bolts. I would research the GEN III Internal section for more. You should get a good idea. IMO I think the stock cam is already topped out and unless the motor needs it, its just beating on it. But again, thats just my opinion.
