Ok, that makes sense. I'm going to run a Super Victor/4150 setup, so I'm hoping I'll only have to cut part of the cowl (center section) and keep my wipers. If that's the case, I'll get the 5" non sloped version. If I have to remove the entire cowl, then I guess the 5" sloped version will be my best bet.

Yeah, me too. How much are you looking to get for it? I assume shipping on something like that would be astronomical.

Here's a pic of the engine bay, I cut the ears off and made permanent, removable sheet metal corners on, held in with stainless screws, looks race car but I didn't want to deal with the wings and scratching up the front fenders every time I pulled the hood.

Not your typical setup, but it is very solid, ill try to get another pic with the dzus fasteners in.

Thanks, I have always wanted this hood, makes the car look a lot meaner, car is still in the rebuild phase right now

Actually, now that I think about it, I think mine is the 4" they call the beast. I have blocked it and it is in primer. Was gunna ask $400 for it.

I ordered mine from racecraft when I got the rails, I don't know if VFN sells a kit though

Eric @ MWC makes the rails that fits the Trans Am's.
I'm sure he has the fasteners also.

Yeah ill get one. I havent mounted the cowl trim yet but you will need the cowl trim with the bolt on hood.
