Ok, that makes sense. I'm going to run a Super Victor/4150 setup, so I'm hoping I'll only have to cut part of the cowl (center section) and keep my wipers. If that's the case, I'll get the 5" non sloped version. If I have to remove the entire cowl, then I guess the 5" sloped version will be my best bet.

Here's a pic of the engine bay, I cut the ears off and made permanent, removable sheet metal corners on, held in with stainless screws, looks race car but I didn't want to deal with the wings and scratching up the front fenders every time I pulled the hood.
Not your typical setup, but it is very solid, ill try to get another pic with the dzus fasteners in.

chewy...does vfn sell the dsuz fastener kit for fbody's to install it or do you have to get that from summit/jegs? I heard today that vfn sold a kit but that's the first time I've heard that..
