Default Question about MSD window switch and NOS

Wanted to get others opinion, I was running a t-56 in the car, and have it wired up to use the MSD window switch for protection on the standard trans. IT is set up to come on at 3200 and off at 6500. I have now swapped to a jakes 4l80 with a transbrake. My question is,, are any of you automatic guys using a window switch, I know alot of guys use Nitrous controllers, I am not that deep into it. Just curious if I still should use the window switch in this automatic trans setup.
Thanks guys

Yes use it still. Spin the tires hard off the hit and it could hit the limiter.

and it prevents you from spraying through the shifts when racing WOT, which saves some added wear and tear on the trans.

Exactly, It is best to use one on the later overdrives. They dont like being sprayed through the shifts

OK I have it wired in right now... Here is another question on this subject,, My engine is a 383 with an EPS custom cam, I know it kinda flattened out on the dyno curve right around 6700. I have a 3200 low pill and a 6500 high pill in the window switch,, does that sound about right? Im really not too sure. I will be leaving off the transbrake, and Rev-limiter. Converter is right on 3000 stall on the footbrake, on the street with street tires (tight converter for the spray) I dont know what it will flash to yet, as I have not had the car out. I Figure Ill start the rev-limiter around 3500 or so and see what happens.
Thanks for all the help fellas
