dont see why it would need to be thick, the firewall is pretty thin....no need for steel... get a .030 aluminum sheet 2'x2'

Where do you get that? All home depot, lowes and ace have us .01875 which is 26 gauge

look for a fab shop i would think

im lucky cause about 20min away from me theres a huge steel place that sells everything under the sun that pertains to metal

hell if i was going to be down in your area id give you a piece i have a bunch of thin sheet metal in my basement
