We went to the track again today and made some hits with a less aggressive tuneup and the front suspension tied down and slowly loosened it up as we made passes. Went 2 clicks to many and put it on the bumper again and cracked another oil pan. Needless to say we will be working on some SYA bars. I might get some pics of the K-Member when I work on the car later this week.

Here is the video form the run today, ran it out because I didn't think it landed as hard this time and I had the diaper on the car so I didn't put any oil down.

It had been on the ground all day but went just a little bit to far on the adjustment.

I had a stock F-Body pan on the car. I should have the Moroso pan tomorrow as well as bolting these on to help keep it from happening again.

No... actually these will not do any damage to the k-member like the other ones have potential to because they are not connected to it. These bolt direct to the frame of the car on both ends, and are in much more of a straight line and will not have the tendency to fold over from the direction of the push.

and yes Zack... I built them Monday afternoon.

No dyno numbers but on spray 700HP?

Well Eric already commented on the bars and the back bolts in the same location as most of the other SYA bars but the front is run to the frame instead of the K-Member. I will be working on the car tomorrow and take some pictures since that is what everyone wants.

Oh and if you don't think the crash bars will work its the same design concept on the Black Cuda in this video. They have been there for the last 3 years. The only thing that car does is wheel stands and it has come down hard a bunch of times with no structural damage to the crash bars.
