Here are a couple.. nothing too particular. We caged another car a couple weeks ago, I'll get some more pics pretty soon. We use all Wolfe cages.. notch ourselves for optimum fit.

heres one SS were doing now if its tig welded it could still be either or.. if it's mig welded and its chromoly it's not legal..
if it is painted you can either have it ultrasounded by a nhra cert guy or you can drill and 1/8" hole somewhere not in sight and check the thickness..mildsteel is usually in the .134 range and chromoly is .083..
also, if you grind chromoly the sparks are much smaller and finer than they are when grinding mildsteel..
if it is painted then i don't see how anyone could tell you what type of material it is unless they have x-ray vision
