Going from 4L80E to Powerglide
#22
Yea I think I decided to stay the course and if the 1st gear becomes a problem with the newfound power I create over the winter I'll put a 2.10 gear in it.
I was talking to someone earlier, and was reminded how much I enjoyed driving my car at the beach this summer, and realized I wouldn't be able to do that with the glide.
So, I'm gonna keep it with all it's 260lbs. of bulkiness

60 ft times
He will not loose on his 60 ft. times with the right converter.... He WILL pick up some on the big end with the glide. The glide is 60 - 70 lbs lighter than the 80 and robs less hp.....
