Talking Props to Jay and Amber at Billingsley

They have been great on customer service and quality of parts

Got my race setup 9" this week and lighty assembled it to check it out before it gets a couple things welded on and off to the powder coater.

AWESOME PIECE!! I was very pleased and surprised to see the entire rear is TIG'd. I know first hand the time involed with that amount of work, and all great welds. And no assembly issues, for once everything fit. LOL

Prompt shipping on the new AFCO's and brakes as well

Well done

Not to mention, this rear with sway bar and Strange brakes is ALOT lighter than my old 12 bolt and factory brakes w/ the BMR bar.

http://harlan-engineering.com/9inch/

174lbs dry, as you see it above. My 12 bolt w/ factory brakes and BMR bar was over the limit on my scale (300 lbs) That's HUGE!!!!

Thanks again Billingsley Racing!!

I couldn't believe how nice a unit it is either. The fact that it weighs 174 pounds dry compared to my 12 bolt with no brakes at 230 pounds is amazing! Huge thanks to Jay and Amber for their awesome support and service!

Let's refer to Harlan's motto: If you have to ask, you can't afford it. No seriously, for a axle less powder coating it was over $3000. You can get some other options too. Just give Jay a call.

That rear is sweet. Derty, I just weighed my 12 bolt and it weighed 189 lbs with no brakes. The 9" I replaced it with, weighed 220 lbs with no brakes, and an iron center section. Used a digital scale. That's a big difference in weight between your 12 bolt and mine.

I'm guessing you did not have a 33lb sway bar attached when you weighed your 12 bolt. Without a sway bar a 12 bolt is pretty close to that weight.

Rick, It's most likely going to be custom. While a Spohn, BMR or others will fit I am looking at making my own.

Yep, you are correct, no sway bar. Thanks for the clarification.
