help with battery cutoff switch
help with battery cutoff switch I seen Jegs offers theyre own battery cut off switch. it looks to be only 2 posts sticking out for connecting cables. will this work for a car with an alternator? I know i'm gonna need a way to shut down my charging system so the car doesnt continue to run.

I see they sell flaming river big switch but they do not have a push pull lever style offered on the website that says it will dissable the charging system.
can i use a switch with 2 posts sticking out or do i need one with 4? I need a complete push pull style kit. the guy on the phone at jegs even was confused and tried to have me buy 2 kits and piece them together.

You can use a 2 post you just have to run the power wire from the alternator to the battery side of the switch or the battery itself. A search should bring up a wiring diagram showing how to shut off power to the pcm/junction block.
