Although with the Kirkey it is best for safety reasons to run a cage and have it back braced to the main hoop's crossbar. It weighs about 15lbs and a padded cover adds another 2-3 lbs.

To bring up an old thread, but how do you guys support the back of the seat, to the rollbar? I know some guys have a weld-on support, but I also remember seeing a bolt-on support as well. Any help with that?

I didnt have it mounted for a little while. but made a alum. Tube T off a flat bar bolted to the back of the seat, fits between 2 tabs under the seat bar. I posted alot of pics in my build thread. should be 3-5 pages back
