Default Gear/Tire combo Questions

Im trying to make my setup more efficient as far a gearing goes at the track.

I run both NA and nitrous.

How do I know if a 3.90 gear will fit my setup better then a 3.73 gear?

Right now the car runs a 4L60E, 3.73s, 28" tires.

NA the car runs 7.25-7.35@94MPH
N2O the car runs 6.8@102mph on 100 shot, I plan on upping to 150-175 next year.

However I want to keep the car setup to be able to have enough gear.

Is there a calculator I can run?

you should have plenty of headroom with the 3.73's, unless the motor poops out at 5k...
