switching from 26in to 28in tire how much will it hurt my times?

Default switching from 26in to 28in tire how much will it hurt my times?

my cars a cam only 02 camaro with 373 gear and 4000 stall i have skinnies up front with weld rts and out back im running 17x11 zr1s with 315-35-17 mts the car has ran best of 11.1 122mph on a 26in tire im going to be ordering the weld rts for the back im undecided on rim/tire size either 15x8 with a 275-50/275-60 or do i go 15x10 and run a 295-55 how much will stepping up to the 295-55 hurt my et/mph?

It probably won't hurt your times at all! If you can get the car to 60' harder it will pick up. The 28inch tall tire is better able to take launch because it has more sidewall.

You can run a 275/60/15 (28inch) and it would be just fine. Myself on the other hand love the look of the 325/50/15, but thats extra work to get it to fit. My buddy has 295s and he had to do some bashing to get the 295s to fit FYI.

i would go ahead and get a 10" wide wheel also instead of an 8 ". just my $.02
