t tops? this is probably a stupid question....
but im in the process of trying to find a car to gut out and make a race car out of and what not and just wantd to make sure there wasnt anything wrong necessarily with getting a car with t tops...?

Assuming your looking at fourth-gen f-bodies, they were all built with t-tops in mind. The only difference is metal brackets along the door glass to mount the plastic roof on hardtop cars. Structurally, the t-top and hardtop cars are the same.
