Looks like we're back on track! Many thanks to Brian, owner of race wire solutions for the COMPLETE wiring harness. His work is absolutely sick, and so are the components! We were anticipating re-wiring the car ourselves, but Brian made Tim a deal he couldn't refuse, and I'm SO glad, because I could never have produced something so clean and functional as this. Again, I want to extend a personal thank you to Brian for saving me from all the solder burns and headaches. The car will be that much better because of your help.
Also, Gilbert with Ace Racing Transmissions has gathered all the necessary components to start assembly on the new transmission, and I have to say that I've been nothing less than awe-stricken by what he puts into his product. He has already given us a LOT of customer support, and we don't even have the trans! I've heard the term pro-mod dropped a lot when referencing this transmission, so it will without a doubt be super robust and ready to transmit the torque to the wheels without making the mess that the old sportsman brake TH400 did. Tim went ahead and got a professional products shifter to go with the new trans. Everyone knows how awesome those are, so I won't go into any detail there.
That's all for now, photo updates will follow shortly.

It's down on its own back legs. A few more parts and we can roll it over to AEI to start on the wiring, interior and charge piping.

Tim has been super busy with work and personal stuff, and the car is stuck at cage rage until we can get the front suspension under it. I'm hopeful that Eric finds the time to get us rolling soon! There's really not much else to report.

I don't think you'll see us in Atlanta. With the car in its current condition, I would have to work 8 hrs a day on it for 3-4 weeks to get it race ready. We still don't have a turbo either. Maybe we'll take mine down and run true street, but that would be it.

that stinks, well you have plenty of time before bowling green to get it ready, would love to see it again down there. I got some video of you guys racing falcon from last year

Very frustrating sitting on the chassis jig waiting on parts but that's thats the price you pay for high-end race parts! If we can stick a cheapy 76mm on it, we might still be able to make LS fest. ATL is completely out of the question with the state of the car currently.

That was a nail biter for sure! Especially given the seasoned driver and car vs a bunch of guys having their first foray into heads up racing on a new combo. Did we talk at LS fest? So many new faces, it's hard to keep up!

8.50 at RS275 setup. then head down to Valdosta and pull all the weight off it and see what it runs in Ultimate Street.
As far as turbo, we have a few options, but nothing hanging on the car just yet.
