Default M6 Nitrous Gear Qs

Basic Heads Cam car, Makes about around 450 to the tire N/A. I cant remember dyno numbers off the top of my head. Anyway..that has been my set up for last season with a 100 shot. Car was full weight. I ran a 4:10 with a 28in Tire. Went 10.6s-10.7s all day @ 125-126. Shifting about 6500. This winter Iv done some weight reduction(maybe 125 lbs) and wanted to spray more (150-200 range) and swap gears to 4:56s. Also at this time doing rod bolts, bearings. I figured safely I could turn the car 7200 and stil be able to mph around 134-135. My goal is to be low tens knocking on 9s with some work. Am I wrong in my thinking? Would 4:10s be better or even 4:30s be better?

I'd choose the slightly taller gear to take advantage of that bigger shot's torque.

Getting the car to leave good is the part you need to worry about. Aggressive suspension and most likely a de either a progressive kit or 2-step will be key. I would do everything else but gears. See how it runs. I.e. test n tune.

Then see if gearing is required.

I told you in the other thread, nitrous makes torque.

Taller gearing takes advantage of torque. You'd be fine with your 28's, 4.10's and pill that bitch up.
