Default Compression/Boost

Ok need major help. Started with a N/A 355 11.2CR 355, eagle h-beam rods eagle crank, Dart 230 heads 2.08/1.60 heads, Comp Xtreme Energy 282 Solid roller cam. Holley Ultra hp 850 Cfm Carb. Could not get the car to run. Extreme hesitation on off idle throttle response. Have a video on youtube (atsd5424). Decided that the heads are too big for the cubic inches that i am running. Dummy me thought bigger was better. I am not quite sure what i should do. I am thinking that I should go with the AFR 195 cc heads and run N/A, or what I am thinking i could go with a low boosted application (8-10psi) blow through centrifugal supercharger application with the heads that i have. Any and all suggestions would be awesome. Thanx

Would 11.2 CR be too much compression for 8-10psi, and would this be a route that anyone would go or should i just get a new set of smaller 195cc heads and run N/A?

I'de recommend going to a lower compression piston if you just wanna boost it. BUT you could probably throw a nice little shot of nitrous on it and it should work. I have a similar setup but mine is a 383... with the same camshaft( i think thats the same one... its a 248/252or 254 @ .050)... I just haven't made any passes with the car.

you could put some boost at it. get a nice intercooler and a ice tune. whats the hp goal?

I forgot to mention that you could probably go to an alcohol setup and be fine.... BUT I dont know much about boost. You could probably get better results in the forced induction section

I was just hoping to get 500hp to the wheels. At this point in time im trying to get the car to run without spending much more money on the engine.
