Default Another 10 bolt question

Ok, i have a semi beefed up stock 10 bolt (rear end girdle, and detroit tru trac gears). My car was last dyno'd at around 350-360rwhp and 380tq (roughly). I am setting the car up more for autox/road course stuff, but want to take it to the drag strip. It will have a torque arm, and full suspension set up. Weight around 3300 w/driver (i'm guessing). Does anyone have any feelings on whether my rear end will hold up. This is w/street tires, and an m6. Thank you all for your help!

Do not DUMP the clutch off the starting line, as it will break instantly. It will hold up for a while in a A4,but will not in an M6.You have to slip it off the line.

If you are easy it will hold up. However, trying to be easy at the dragstrip is a chore sometimes.

Ok, I appreciate the help. I thought it may do a little better than that, just based on what i read a while back about a guy running 9's on a 10 bolt. His car was only 2800 lbs... and probably a spool as opposed to street gears... So i assume that could make quite a difference. Thanks again!

A close friend of mine had a 4th gen 10 bolt in his 3rd gen and ran 9.40@140 multiple times. However, don't think for a second that if one person has gotten away with it that you will. Especially with a manual....

If you have rain tires that can't grip worth crap then you probably won't break the differential.

^ Wheel hop will though.

If you want a good slip you need to get up on that tire and let the clutch dump off the line @5-6k rpm and hold on. Then shift clean. To do that you do need a good driveline, suspension, and a bias-ply slick.

Been there, done that, broke ****, still learning but I will tell you it is not cheap.

Caught some good air on this run, the right had bout 1 ft off the ground at full extention. Spent the past few years gathering parts to keep it level, straight, and safe and looking for a fall run to get a better slip.
