Index racing without mirrors? Think about it.....
If you accually want blockoffs, I'll make them for you. I have some pieces of C/F laying around.

Here is the thing, I'm sure they are easy to make. I just have the worst luck cutting carbon. I can't figure it out. It makes these small cracks around the edge and looks like ****.

Should I cut bigger and then just grind/polish down to final size? Only thing I haven't tried.

Guys, just use the 3M double backed adhesive tape. Most car manufactures use this on all their moldings and trust me, if prepped right that **** ain't coming off!

I had my buddy build some out of sheet metal with three studs mounted on the back so that they bolt in place of the mirrors.

Rick I have a set that are on the car now... Really not sure about leaving them on though. Like you said, mirrors are very useful..... At least when index racing

Gump had the LT1 front end on it. Still had no mirrors though:

Yeah. I decided to retire Gump from competition. So, I put the stock front end back on. What's cool is that it was an IHRA record holder when I took the fenders off in 1999 and when I put them back on in 2011! The 1998 front end is all on the red car now (except for the stock Ram Air hood).
