Default weight trans fer problem.

Here is a video of the launch. I have a pt4000 in it now. I am launching at 2k. I have a set of front runners but no tires yet. Will that solve my problem. I Cut a 1.69 60' but most of the time i am cutting a 1.62. O and the race weight with the driver is 3550.

still have the front swaybar on it? battery still up front?

what shocks and springs?

those are nice sixty foots in all reality..from the video the car looks like is not transferring alot of weight, I agree, but its coming out nice and even and looks to be pulling through the sixty foot with consistency..

Sway is out. Battery is in the back. Stock shocks and springs. Want hals but i dont have the money right now. I know going from 100lbs in the front on the 17 to the skinney witch are half if not more will help a lot. What else you i do to get the rear to squet and so i could up the psi in the tires so i could run a little faster. I have to run 15 to 16 psi hot in them to get a good hook. If i could get more wieght on the rears for the launch i could cut a little drag off the car by upping the psi.

Hals will help out a ton. I have them on the front with no swaybar and I cut a 1.62 with 17" tt2's on the front and slightly pulling a wheel.

Hey Savage are you running Hals springs as well or just shocks? Im very close to buying some Hals but I have the Eibach ProKit (I know that doesn't help my 60') Should I get the Coilovers with 12 way adj. shocks so I can still adjust the ride height as well? Any info. from anyone would be appreciated... Thanks...

yeah, just do the whole kit. I have Hals' all the way around and their springs up front. the springs are way cheap compared to the shocks, no reason not to do them..then yes you can adjust the ride height of the front of the car, which is pimp

if you do that then ditch the rear Eibachs and go back to stock springs..

Yea I have there springs up front also. I actually need to raise my front in up. It's about a 1/2" lower then stock. It should help transfer the weight better when it sits up higher.

i believe skinnys up front help out a lot, but the shocks will also help out a lot too, espeically if you have traction problems, the combo of the two helped me to get my car to hook up on Drag Radials (when i was stock internal). I see you are running 3.23 gears...ever think of changing to 3.73's?

I will go the 3.73 when i get another car. It is my DD plus i plan on putting in a 8.8 for the spray. Most i want in gear is 3.42. I do not have any traction problems but the front end does not come up like i think it should but mabey with the skinnys it will help. I hope to pick up a .1th with the skinnys and maby if i can set it up right .2 with the hals but i think i am shotting high.
