Putting my order in now for the PARacing solid motor mounts as well as the brakemotive rotor/brake setup.
Anybody want to throw their input in on which one they would do?

That is what I was thinking.
There is also a set of Katechs for 280$ shipped in the classifieds. I think I like the PONTIAC ones more though.
And I'm not sure about the ls6 PCV with the Katchs as they don't have the little neck on them.

Thanks Panther!
Got the PARacing K member in today, I really like the red! I will get some pics up later as well as some weights. It will most likely be going in tomorrow.
Jason@PA said the solid mounts will be shipping either today or tomorrow. I talked briefly with him about some A/control arms.. That may be a bit though. For now, my painted stock ones will do.
Got the entire engine bay painted, turned out really good IMO.
Took the radiator/condenser out and cleaned them, they were gunked up pretty bad.
Mounted my trans cooler "dope style".. I will post pics later. I hope this works the way I want it to.
My new rotors/pads will be shipping tomorrow.
Hoping to get the battery relocation kit in tomorrow or the following day and wire it all up.
Also the fuel pump kit should be here mid-late week.
I think that covers it for the most part, might be forgetting something else I did.
Pics later tonight.. Got to help a buddy pull his ls1 in favor of his new 408/ls3 top end build.

Yea, I think I have landed on those.
Wish I could come across a set for a good deal though.
I think I have a deal worked out for an Edelbrock water pump.
I got the rest of the engine bay painted along with some of the front suspension.
Everything turned out really nice.
Tonight I helped my buddy pull his ls1 to get everything ready for the 408/ls3 top end he just finished up to go in.
Going to probably get the K member in tomorrow.. Not sure what else.. I'm hoping the fuel setup will be in, probably won't be until Wednesday though.
The battery relocation should be here.

I thought that the 100% I paypal'd him the other day was good enough for partial payment...?
It is shipping out tomorrow.
Up next... Ordered my new valve covers. By far the best deal I came across. I would have bought these a long time ago if I new they existed. Killer deal IMO:
http://paceperformance.com/i-9375493...no-emblem.html
Subtotal $197.95
Shipping $18.11
Total $216.06
They should be here on Saturday, shipping was 1-2 days.
Last... I don't think I have ever swore at my car as much as I did yesterday and today. To say the K member is a "mother FFUUCC******" to get in, would be a MAJOR understatement.
The driver slide arm slides in like butter... The passenger side. It seems I will have to have an act of God himself to get this thing to go in. The back bushing is at a horrible angle going in, I actually have to force it just to slide in. I got that bolt all the way. However, it is at such a horrendous angle it won't allow me to slide the front bolt all the way through because the back of the bushing is hitting the K member.
The driver side took us roughly 10-15 minutes.. We have about 2.5-3 hours on the passenger. I have also accumulated plenty of nice little scratches on it trying to get the bastard in. I had to quit early tonight because I was getting so irritated with the whole thing.
*I do not believe it to be the K Member.. I think it is something with the angle of my arms/shocks or the bushings causing the issue.
My rotor/brake package did come in though. Everything looks really nice and they had very fast shipping, I ordered Monday morning and they got here this afternoon.
Got my buddies ls1 out so we can sell it and get started on the 408 install. We have a long way to go to clean the engine bay/paint/etc.
Had to make a trip out of town to pick up my buddies new H/C C5Z... Extremely nice car I might add! Fresh black paint (done right) and 44XRwhp. Got it for 16.5K which I think was a steal even with 12XK on it.
While there we stopped at HF. I needed a nice jack! He did too since the Z sits so low... He opted for the 2 ton extra low profile one, it was 139$.

I will have some updated pics of progress and new parts tomorrow.

Well found out that I had an issue with the K member and that is what was causing my major head ache with the lower arm install... But fortunately Jason@PARacing is THE MAN when it comes to fixing an issue as well as cutting deals you can't turn down! If you need suspension, CALL HIM!!!
I have another K member on the way... He knows how easy I am to con into an amazing deal so he twisted my arm until I went ahead and said I would pick up the upper and lower arms for the front. I have another buddy, possibly two, that are going to jump in on the deal as well. I am going to sell the other K member that had the issue with it to a friend. I will end up having next to nothing in my K member.. After I sell my stock K member and my motor mounts, I will have made money on sapping to the tubular K member, can't beat that!
Since I now have the K member, upper/lower arms my front suspension is almost done.
I will go to a manual rack in the future but besides that all I need is my new shock/spring setup and I will be done with front suspension!
I had some parts sand blasted today to get ready for paint.. Brackets/etc
So what is on the agenda for now? Mostly waiting for parts to come in.. I can't do anything with the fuel until I get the order in.. Can't do anything with the suspension/brakes/rims until I get the new parts in.. Can't set the motor in until the suspension is installed.
Waiting game for the next several days. Everything will be installed ASAP when it comes in however.
I'm going to have to find something to tinker with while I wait though... I will probably go ahead and get the fender roller tool ordered and knock that out as well as go ahead and do the rear wheel studs so I can mount the rear rims.. I'll clean all of that stuff as well while it is apart.

Good deal.. For the price, you can't beat them.
I didn't opt for the warranty.. I figured if it breaks, I'll just buy another at that price.
A buddy has had one of the 2 tons (the crazy low profile with 4" more lift) for a while now and it works awesome still. I didn't need quite that clearance and this jack still gets it crazy high so I saved some cash and got the 80$ one.
I'll probably end up buying on of the aluminum ones when the car gets running to take to the track with me.

Just bought an NOS mini progressive controller.. Buddy had one on his and I loved it.
I have a TPP 00011 now and while the reviews are awesome I'm not sure if I would have liked it as much as the mini. The price was/is right on the TPP but I like the mini, I'm paying for the change in them for sure.
I'm also going to talk to Jason@PARacing tomorrow about possibly getting me setup for a manual rack. His prices will make you go broke... Because they are too cheap to pass up!!
...While I'm in there I might as well...... Story of this build.
