The WP118 is for the LT1, not a SBC.

Summit list the 118 as a sbc. But it is for a LT1.
I need one for a LS1.

The 119RHD has a bigger motor and longer life expectance.
It's only $20.00 more, so I think that the one I want.

I realize you need one for a LS1. Did you not see where I said I use a WP119 for the LS92 in my Super Stocker? It would be exactly the same one for your LS1.

The HD is not needed in my applications and I am putting out more horsepower in my LS92 Super Stock motor than you are in your LS1.

If you look at the application tab at Summit for the WP118 then you will see that it is for the LT1.

Dude, your first post, you said WP118.
Then you went back in and change it to read that you use the WP118 on your LT1 and
WP119 on your LS92. Now I don't know what a LS92 is, but I know what a L92 is.
And good for you and your LS92 Super Stocker.

Excuse me. I meant L92. Good luck with your racing and attitude. Maybe you should get answers from real racers and not from some hack like me.

In most drag race only applications the WP119 will work fine. The WP119HD would help to cool the engine faster between rounds because it flows more water. But there is a trade off, The HD weights(1 pound) more and will draw a few more amps.
