Default How to lower my ET with current setup?

I know my car has more potential out of it however I must be doing something wrong. Here is my current setup:

All free mods
SLP air lid with K & N
SLP 85mm MAF
smooth bellows
Hooker cat-back
cut-out
TCI super street fighter 3500 stall
3.73 gears
B & M Tranny cooler
ASP underdrive pulley
BMR Lower Control Arms w/relocation brackets
LS1 Edit + dyno tuned by Delk Performance

I went to the track this saturday night April 3rd. Bar was about 29, temp was 62 and went down to 55 that evening, was beech bend at bowling green, ky.

My best pull was 13.101 @ 104.xxmph with a 60' of 1.9s

I was consistant at 1.9s all night but I just couldn't get any lower than 13.1

Any suggestions on what I can do to do so with my current setup. I've read about other F-bodies, same mods as mine and some even less and be able to dip into the high 12s yet I seem to be stuck hehehe.

I'm running BF Goodrich Comp TA Drag Radials currently. Is there a different set of radials or ET Streets that might be recommended that would help me launch better? As it stands, even with a good burnout, I just roast the BFG's on a launch. I have to feather it out around 1500rpms and them punch it once I am moving other wise I just sit there and spin.

Thanks

Dam you must have something wrong , I went with boltsons and a TCI2800 stall on nittos , 12.40s with a 1.7060ft . You need better tires or you have verybad track prep. 1.9 60ft is not cutting it for that converter, you should be in the 1.6s or close to that. Id get some ET streets or drags and then go back to the track , Im betting you will get into the mid 12s then.

Cool, that's what someone else had told me. Ditch the BFG DR's and get some ET Streets. I'll give that a shot as I thought I should be better than low 13s. The DR's are basically shot though as I bought them used. Could be my problem there.

Thanks man!!!!

What air pressure are you running in the rear tires? According to BFG you should be down around 13 psi. Yeah yeah I know that sounds way to low but that's what the BFG rep told a friend of mine and it works. BFGs are not Nittos.

Good luck

I was running them at 20psi I'm heading back in a few weeks. I'll drop to 16 and test around with and then 13 like you suggested.

You might also need to plant the power with some suspension.....and yeah...drag tires around 13-15 psi will help a lot

you have enough boltons and convertor to pull 1.5-1.6 all day - just need a tire on it. suspension helps out a little bit on auto cars.
