Default Want to disconnect front swaybar, which side, driver or passenger?

I cannot remove it completely right now due to the pipes routing, so I just want to disconnect it. What's the easiest way, can I disconnect just the passenger side end link? Going to the track tomorrow so want to try that

Disconnect = remove end links alltogether?
If I disconnect both, swaybar will just bang around there, I think?

It wont bang around at all it's held in tight with rubber bushings. You can rotate it up or down just by pulling on it after the end links are disconnected.

Disconnect both ends is fine it wont move and it will help w/ you 60ft that i see you really need a low 1.6 to get into the 10's !

I was lazy and short on time so I disconnected just passenger side Yes, most probably it won't move in the bushings. I just don't see necessity to remove both

Sorry to bring this back up. So to "disconnect" it, all I need to do is loosen where it connects on the A-arms?

Right, the two bushings in the center area of the bar support the weight and it's just dead weight hanging there.

Since you're lowered on good springs/shocks, I'd love to see if you miss it. Try driving the car spiritedly around some on/off ramps, curvy roads, then do the same after disconnecting. I bet you won't miss it unless you're really pushing the car hard. This was my experience at least...

Great. I probably wouldn't miss it honestly - as much as I like to drive my car, unless it is in a straight line, I rarely push it around corners for fear of it letting loose...and certainly not doing it with the ET streets on it at the moment, lol.

I'm planning on doing that and setting my shocks to full soft in the front to hopefully get some better 60's when I get my diff back. Couldn't break 1.92....but that was the first time out with the new setup and drag radials (ever), and a broken diff.

Even still, I'd rather not fully remove it from the car, even though it is not a DD. I do plan on upgrading to a hollow one in the future however.

A hollow one is just good for the weight savings. I'm curious as to how much does a front sway bar vs no front sway bar affect in the 1/4 mile.

I was reading, and somebody said it is usually good for 1-2 tenths...I guess depending on power.

In my LT1 6 speed
I ran a 12.71 without it and
I ran a 12.71 with it

I will assume in something faster or maybe something with traction issues there may be more of a difference.

It wasn't bad to drive on the street but I couldn't push the car into corners
