To be honest, I would not run the stock studs if you run a sticky tire on a Weld 15 X 10. But I tend to be over cautious. That's why I run 1/2 studs and Bogarts now.

Oh by the way.....$2000 for Bogarts???? Not even close. They are alot less then that!
I will check out the ARP knurls. Thanks

Well lets add this up... 1200 for the rims, 380 for rears... 200 for fronts... lug nuts another 50... center caps 50 = $1880 that is pretty close to 2k if you ask me

I 2nd that..... who ever is pricing out Bogarts to you is ripping you off... and who in there right mind is paying $200 for front tires???? I can get 2 165r 15's here mounted and balanced for under $80 bucks..... If you shop around you can do a set of Bogarts and slicks and skinnies for under $1600....

I ran 15x10 7.5 BS Prostars with no spacers, you just have to grind the sh*t out of them, and if you are breaking through you are grinding in the wrond spots. I would grind, spray with paint, spin the rim and see where the paint came off and grind there some more, its not really that bad, I found using the grinder to CUT was alot faster than trying to grind off little by little

Run a spacer with ARP studs. You will still have to grind, but you wont have to make an all day adventure out of it. Up front DO NOT RUN A SPACER WITH STOCK STUDS!!!!

Your phreaking wheels will fall off!!

hey guys, i went to welds website and they have a 16x10 with 7.5 backspacing. wouldnt this fit better than the 15 inch. i was thinking about going this route and maybe i wouldnt have to grind much.

oh i emailed steve about some bogarts, the price i got was 1500 for just the wheels. that was with skinnys up front. i really want a set but thats a little out of my range. hey maybe he would do a group purchase on them if enough people got in on it. whatcha think steve, please

Let's take a breath, and remember the point.

You can get a 16" XP series rim from Weld and use those. But they are the same weight as stock. XP rims have a box weight of 23 lbs. Regular Welds are 15 or so. Alumastars are like 11.

I have 16x9 xp's with 26x11.5x16 ET Streets and they cut mid 1.5's for me.
