Going on a diet! I'm GOING ON A DIET! I'm going to lighten up with these free mods - anyone care to add some more FREE ideas?
Current weight 3416 lbs
Proposed Diet: -360 lbs
Finish "free" weight: 3056 lbs

A little off with some of those weights. For example Lexan is more like -50lb, brakes can take 100lbs off depending on which ones you get (front & rear), and a 9" 50lbs less than a 10 bolt?
Good luck with 2700lbs. It's a pretty hard goal to set. My car is 2900lbs and I just added a pin-on SS hood, speed glass F&R, and Strange brakes F&R w/Burkhart lighter spindles. Once everything is installed I should be close
I was just subtracting all the weight from the sticky posts from my cars actual weight. I made an excel spreadsheet and will weigh everything and have estimated and actual columns. I get started in November; I still have to DD it with kids in he car until then

I think 2700 is doable the way your doin it....but your not gonna have much car left. It will be a race car for sure. I will be at a little less than 3000 with a completely dd'able car. So for sure 2700 is doable.
