Curious why you kept the stock width rearend though. It's an easy way to lose considerable weight. Would still like to know how much clearance between the windshield and the intake. Looks really close in that last pic you posted of the engine bay. Mine is cut to the cowl very similar to yours except I boxed it in.

i honestly wish i would have shorten the rear end but money was an issue. Went back and forth on this but decided to keep what i had and save the money for other stuff. Labor and new axles would have cost me close to 700 bucks. Plan is to buy a new rear end possibly next year. Next big ticket item will be switching to air/water, then new turbo, then rear end.
And yes its very tight against the cowl.

Cant find any pics of the engine complete that are worth a ****, but here you get the idea. Slowly getting there but still no where near what I want, takes time with a budget. Went from a cam only, to a procharger, to a pt88 408, to now how it sits.
