its still really heavy! But havn't had the 100hours to put in trimming up all the extra crap, just a few 1 day here, a afternoon here. while the car was being driving unbolted a few things. Still has all the dash stuff but pulled some of the hard bolts while the heads were off.
This isn't really LS1tech cam only. More setup for the WCF import vs domestic race at MIR All Motor class

Haters gonna hate....

I cut a few things out when I did the cage.
Cars pretty light to begin with, no T-tops no pw, pl,
I'll try to get it weighed soon.

No, it's not as light as Johnny's car.
But it's getting there.

The kmember weighs just over 20 pounds.
Not sure the total weight savings with
Everything? I'm sure studderin can chime in
With the #`s.
Way easier to work on the car and alot
Cleaner under the hood with all the
Power steering stuff gone.

2stroke got the BMR manual rack K with LS1 stands. My stock rack mounts LS1 stand K was 24.5 I believe and the stock was 57.5 with the stands. I like his rack setup better them my burhart one, its lighter for sure.

Years ago, Like 2004? with the hellion cam, and OK bolt ons (LS6/UD/lid/no ram air duct/those hooker 1 3/4 cutout on the stock catback, on 17' it when some 11.7s I think maybe a 11.4 but 120. I think a 121.5 or somthing like that. This car raced a LOT on the street, stock motor with 1 wet 1 dry kit and a ?? kit to mix it up, its had a lot of bottles thu it.
Got any vids of the old days?

I wish I did have some of those videos.
Lol, but this motor has had alottttttt of bottles through it.
Still going strong.
Mike at new era has a time slip from I think 2005-2006
Back when he had a sts rear mount turbo setup on a fourth gen camaro.
We raced each other and I went 11.2 on n20. Can't remember the mph.
Ran a bunch of 11.4's.. 100% stock suspension and 17" wheels.
That was pretty fast back then. Lol

I just got my chromoly from MWC and a flaming river manual rack. Also going with MWC lower a arms with strange shocks hopefully drop a decent amount of weight. Pretty sure it's lighter than the bmr I had but never installed.

I will get the weight. It does feel lighter than the bmr but we shall see. I did wait a long time. But I like Eric's parts so I kinda have order it and forget about it mentality lol. I am never in a rush so it's all good.

Next year i gotta do upper and lower a-arms.
Wanna get the tires tucked in a little more if i can. Not 100% which ones yet.
I noticed tires are rubbing on the inner fenders when the front end comes down.
