Ok nevermind, i just followed that link you gave and there is no 27" tire lol. I decided a 27"tire inch tire should work so now to decide et street or qtp. Should've done a poll to get votes

If your stuck on a DOT tire go with the QTP. I had et streets and hated them.

I ran the 27x11.5 GTP behind a heads and cam 346 and a 6 speed with 4:10s. Cat ran 11.7s na, and 11.1 on a 100shot. I think I was turning 6400 at the finish. The QTP worked well. Mostly track , but did take it on the street a few times. Seemed to be ok.

I can't really remember mph. I want to say 115ish. It would 60ft 1.6/1.7 All factory stock suspension. Leaving the starting line at 5200 rpm.

Once I put a Spohn torque arm, and k member and adjustable from and rear shocks, I had to up the tire pressure from 11psi, to 15 psi to keep it from bogging. Ended up changing over to an auto before I had a chance to see full bennifit's from the suspension changes.

DOT or full slick, what does it matter? The M&H Tires are sick. I cut low 1.4 on them and ran a best this year od a 10.4 132 n/a on a 26'' tire. and my tires are kinda worn too.. a 27x9 would b great. I think i will try the 27'' slick next year..

I had a 27x11.5 qtp on my 79 camaro and loved them. Went 1.5 60 fts every trip to the track on bone stock suspension. I think that may be the exact tire i go with now
