Backless carpet is the lightest. You can do an F-Body front to back with approx. 5 lbs. worth of carpet.

how much weight do you save with the new carpet? whats driving like with the sound deadening removed?

lighter= louder

I think my speedinc was 11? I posted what it was out of the box, untrimmed, and with padding. still was 30 less then stock.

thats what i figured. its not my dd anymore but still gets alot of street use. im pretty tolerable and was considering this carpet. thanks for the input.

I use the stuff from yourautotrim.com. I've done this so many times now I don't find it difficult at all... First time can be a pita which is why I started doing it. You end up using about 5 yards, but I get 6 for a car just so I have some to play with
