Hey guys,
I have a 89 Nissan 240sx with a stock ls1/t56.
The car only has intake and exhaust.
I want to know what RPM I should be launching at.
I am running MT Drag Radials in the back.
I took it to the 1/8 mile and I could only run once since the track was packed and I launched and 3k and dumped the clutch:
60' : 1.79
ET : 8.18
MPH : 85
Tire pressure was 32 psi
I'm pretty sure I can get into the 7's with better launching and less tire pressure.
The car weighs 2750 lbs with me in it.
Trying to find out the best rpm to launch at so if you have any tips or comments please post them .
Thanks

Yeah first thing you should do is lower the pressure in your MT's. The good rule of thumb is so lower them to about 16 to start with and then launch with that. If you spin the tires with 16psi, then leave them, if you don't spin, then you start upping the pressure by about 2-3psi until the car DOES spin, and then let a little out.
Basically you want as much pressure in the tires as you can without spinning.
