yeah stock heads with a blower @ 17psi or something crazy like that. He ended up poping the original motor.

you need some tires. your 60 foots are bad and only 13.1 on a head and camed car. your loosing alot with out that 12bolt and tires. when i added tires i went 6-tenths faster. that 5.0 may take you,but on tires he wont nice web page you have.

I picked up a 1990 LX 5speed (No options) notch for $2,800 after my LS1 popped.I pulled out the rear seats,carpet,heater core/blower and replaced the factory seats with some light weight race seats.

I have less than $3,250 into the car for everything.

Mods include: K&N panel filter,Magnaflow catted Xpipe,Magnaflow Cat-back and a NOS 5115 kit set for a 125 shot(100 to the wheels).-Nothing else

On the dynojet it did 205/275 NA and 305/425 N20

On 26x8.5X15 ET Drags it went:

13.82 @99 NA(2.0 60ft)

12.30 @112.8 N20(1.69 60ft)

I pulled this on stock suspension with the factory POS 3:08 gears and with a blown factory posi.

I am gonna put in a locker,3:73's,24lb injectors,Electric fans,pulley,Walbro 255 fuel pump and work on suspension(up jet another 25 rwhp).

I am hoping for 11.5X's at 117+


The cars are light and can be made to hook and run hard with the right know how.
