I sorta have a grudge match with him, from a dead stop I know he will beat me(he has a total drag setup), from a roll tho, I think I can take him. I have taken quite a few SC'd 5.0's recently. I am planning on doing an ls6 intake and a ported TB, what you think?

Id much rather run him from a dig but with a 150 shot you should take him good. Good Luck

this is werd, my very first kill was against a car alot like this one. it had same heads but his had been worked, same cam, alot of the same stuff.different intake though. anyway on the dyno he only made 361 to the wheels. he had 410 gears, thats what was hurting him. at the track he only ran a 7.90 through the 1/8. with the belt off the blower he ran an 8.40. when i ran him all my car had was a borla catback. he had street tires and so did i. the thing was i knew he would spin the tires at my roll. so if you want to beat him go from a 20 mph roll. my car wouldnt spin at all at that time, it would squat and go. if you get some nittos(just in case) and go from a 20 roll i think u will win. oh and sneek some gas on for insurance . oh on my run, we rolled up at 20, smacked it , he spun, i didnt and put 2 cars on him. and i was $275 dollars richer. the funny part was after he lost he kicked his tail lights out, kicked a dent in his rear quarter panel, went home and broke his coffee table and tried to shoot the car. he took it like a bitch. his wife made him sell the car.oh well hope this helps.

I think it would be if you have Drag Radials on a dig because his chances of roasting the tires are really good and it will take a second for the sc to spin up, when that happens you will be ready to spray.

I had a friend with a combo similar to that and he want 11.7@118mph with the same stuff but on 28" slicks, and I think that he could have went 11.4 with a better tune and launch.

I have seen countless mustangs setup like this with a common cam,bad heads and big blower or nitrous on it to make up for it. Don't be surprised if he only runs mid to low 12s. Funny how the 347 and 377 stroker's around here have a hard time deeping into the 11s NA. Most of them are stuck in the 12.30-12.20 range

It really depends on the Driver. With a good driver and tires it could go 10's, with a moron behind the wheels possibly 13's...

he went 12.8 @ 116 on stock heads? that should put him up in the high 120's mph now. but it seems he has a major traction issue.
