Alright so would having thru the firewall pipes added to the 8.50 cage change anything? like not make it NHRA legal or anythnig crazy like that? Reason i'm asking is because i would like to tie the front end up the car with the rest of the car. Thoughts?

Through firewall pipes? is that like an exhuast that goes through the firewall? sounds like racecar stuff....

Seriously though.. Yes.. Bars go over shock tower, and to the frame rails. Alot of people clean up the shock towers metal, and you can get rid of a bunch of weight.

It will not change anything as far as a cert.. A 8.50 cage does not require it, and a 25.5 would require alot more bars.

I would cut out the firewall, and do the bay bars at the same time if i was to do it.

yeah that's the reason why i'm wanting to go thru. clean up alot under the bay. i'm also wanting to build a one piece front end. lol i got some ideas for you bro. but i'll only be staying to the 8.50 limits. not going to push, the twisties bit me and i'm shifting alot of my attention to that side now
