HOw to remove them from the steering column and not have any issues?

If I just unbolt it from the column will everything else be ok?

What are you undoing from the column? I put quarter stick in my car a couple months ago and there is nothing in the column. NSS wires are in the 6pack harness and just need to be snipped and put onto the new shifter.. if truly interested, I'll take pictures for you and send them. Not a hard process, worst part is securely mounting actual shifter.
