Default Budget Drag Setup!

ok guys ive been doin my homework decided not to lower the car.

did decide to make it more for the track right now i have agx rear shocks with stock springs and factory 120k mile stock struts and springs.

itlll lift the front wheel just enough to see it.

i kno that my set up is wore out

so i decided to go with 70/30 Lakewood drag shocks and the 50/50 Lakewood Drag shocks for the rear..

But unsure to get v6 springs or just to get my factory v8 springs.

what do u guys suggest the v8 springs or the v6

those drag shocks should be alright for the street right??

i run v6 springs in the rear of my car, i like them better than the cut factory springs i had before. if you do the bumpstop mod it'll lower it slightly too.

V6 springs will be better than V8s no doubt. The drag shocks you have listed should be fine, you can remove the bumpstops to have a lower stance look.

I run v6 springs all around, my only suspension mod except for rear drag shocks and relocation brackets, have pulled a 1.53 60' cam only, works okay for a budget setup.

For a budget I ran 100k mile stock shocks/springs with a BMR drag bar and removed front bar. Hit 1.50 60's on my nittoe 315's on 17" rims. Awesome bracket racing setup.
