drag radial question
Just got some nitto nt05 drs. How hard can i launch with a a4 and a 10 bolt. I have full bolt ons and a g5xe cam and 3600 stall. Just dont want to drive a hour one way and gerenade my rear end. Thanks

bolt on autos hold up pretty well , 6 speeds eat up 10 bolts.
plus your on nittos which generally dont hook as well as mickeys , hoosiers , toyos ,etc...
and you dont list suspension mods so if your suspension isnt set up to drag you arent likely to 60 foot real well , quick 60 foots put more stress on the rear than slower 60's

Don't wheel hop and you'll be fine. Gears and wheel hop kills them faster then any thing else. I ran the stock one in my 99 car for 7 yrs with many of 10 sec passes. The one in my 92 car once we added gears would shatter teeth.

I have 275/40/17 NT05R's, and I'm a bolt on A4 with a 4000 stall converter on my stock 3.23 gear 10 bolt. I've cut a 1.57 60' along with some other 1.6s and 1.7s. I haven't broken anything yet.

Anything can happen, but you should be fine I would think. My car is a manual with a HCI combo (so it's tougher on the stock 10 bolt) and the previous owner had done several 11 sec passes with just some Nitto dr's. Even at 75k the rear is fine with no issues whatsoever

I have cut a couple of 1.9X with the 7.5 that was in my car when it was six speed. It even cut some 1.7xS with the th400 and 325 Mickeys. It is in another car now and still fine, 4.10s with factory axles and diff.
